How Big Is Affiliate Marketing?

I chuckle when recalling how friends and family used to ask, "is it legal?", after they saw how much money I was making from affiliate programs. This was back when affiliate programs were totally new, -- 1999-2001.

I guess one could hardly blame them because in those early days very few could see where the Internet was headed.

Managing the Money

Arlene and I are in a unique situation because, unlike most couples, we don't get a paycheck every two weeks from an employer.

In our case, we derive income from multiple sources paid out in a variety of formats, at irregular intervals usually in a currency other than our own, which is Canadian dollars.

So as Arlene and I have gained financial success with our Internet business we've never forgotten Hubert's admonition.

In fact, I treated myself to one in 2004 after it was clear that my Internet revenue was something I could count on for a long time to come.

In fact, I've built a revenue stream around this hobby of mine by publishing a site called www.KitCarConnection.com.
