Work At Home Trend On The Rise

By James Martell

President Obama had an interesting response to Matt Lauer during an NBC interview prior to the February 2009 Super Bowl. "How have you adjusted to being at home with the kids after two years on the road and away from the family a lot?”, Matt asked.

Mr. Obama replied, "It's the best thing of this whole deal. It turns out I've got this nice home office. At the end of the day, -- even if I have more work to do -- I can come home and have dinner with them. I can help them with their homework. I can tuck them in at night. By Arlene Martell

Hello everyone, Arlene here.

Jamie asked me to put together a list of things I do on a regular basis to give people and idea of a typical routine for work at home moms.

I had never really thought of my situation as being that unique, but as I typed up my list it occurred to me I’m quite lucky to work from home.

I mean, how many mothers get to take a few hours out of a busy work day to join their daughter at the local health club to take in a ladies fitness class?

Having Fun With Son Adam At The World Of Wheels Car Show In Abbotsford, BC

By James Martell

Members of my SUPER BootCamp are well aware of my premise that if they build sites in areas they currently have a keen interest in they’ll increase their chances of success.

It was for this reason that I wanted to use Arlene’s idea for a site about Autism as a teaching aid as we recorded the 26-week SUPER BootCamp. For her it was a great topic because she had many years of experience on the subject due to Adams seizures and near miraculous recovery with the Ketogenic diet.

She delayed doing it for two years for all the reasons people procrastinate.
